CSRF in the SportsTeams extension for MediaWiki allows remote attackers to alter sports, teams, or favorite-team choices through forged requests. The Special:SportsTeamsManager and Special:UpdateFavoriteTeams pages process state-changing submissions without validating the session-bound anti-CSRF edit token. Exploitation requires inducing a logged-in user to submit a crafted request; manager changes use the victim's sportsteamsmanager right, while favorite changes affect the victim's account.
