Unauthenticated denial of service via redirect loop

Denial of service in MediaWiki releases before 1.35.12, 1.39.5, or 1.40.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via API queries. ApiPageSet.php repeatedly resolves redirects that convert to another language variant when both redirects and converttitles are enabled, creating an unbounded loop that ends in RequestTimeoutException. The request requires no authentication or user interaction and can exhaust request processing, affecting availability without disclosing or modifying data.
