Authenticated stored XSS via trusted data store
Published Oct 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Archer Platform 6.x before 6.13.0.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via stored data. The vulnerable application data store accepts attacker-supplied HTML or JavaScript without adequate neutralization, and victim browsers execute that content in the trusted Archer application context when the record is viewed. Exploitation requires an authenticated Archer account able to write the data; consequences include script-driven access to victim application data and actions, with no reported service interruption.
