Authenticated root-context arbitrary code execution
Published Oct 9, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
Privilege escalation in Atos Unify OpenScape 4000 Manager V10 R0 and V10 R1 before V10 R1.42.1 allows remote authenticated users to run code. The AScm component runs attacker-supplied code in root context, but the vendor has not disclosed the faulty operation or input path. Reachability requires authenticated access to the network-facing administrative interface; successful exploitation grants root-level control over the manager.
