Code execution via double-subtracted receive length
Published Feb 20, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Heap overflow in uC-HTTP commit 80d4004 and Gecko Platform 4.3.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted HTTP requests. HTTPsReq_ProtocolVerParse subtracts skipped protocol-version bytes twice from RxBufLenRem, underflowing the remaining length that HTTPsSock_ConnDataRx passes to Mem_Copy. An unauthenticated network peer can corrupt the receive buffer and redirect execution; sending the trigger can also crash the embedded service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
