Authentication-data disclosure via IPv6 zone suffix confusion

Information disclosure in Go net/http and net/http/cookiejar before 1.21.8 and in 1.22.0 allows remote attackers to steal authentication data. IPv6 addresses with crafted zone identifiers are passed to suffix-based host checks in isDomainOrSubdomain and cookiejar.hasDotSuffix, causing an unrelated redirect host to be treated as a trusted subdomain. Exploitation requires a client to send authorization headers or scoped cookies and to follow an attacker-influenced redirect or reuse a cookie jar for an attacker-controlled URL.
