Firmware memory disclosure via truncated ND option

An out-of-bounds read in TianoCore EDK II before 202402 allows remote attackers to disclose firmware memory via IPv6 ND Redirect messages. Ip6IsNDOptionValid accepts a one-byte truncated option because its loop never runs, then Ip6ProcessRedirect reads the missing length byte past the packet. The target must be network-booting with IPv6 PXE enabled, and the unauthenticated attacker must share its local network.
