Service interruption via automatic HTTP redirects
Published Jun 24, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Resource exhaustion in Adminer and in AdminerEvo before 4.8.4 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through crafted HTTP redirects. The Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, and SimpleDB drivers use file_get_contents with PHP's default redirect following, letting a hostile endpoint force repeated requests. The unauthenticated login path must connect to an attacker-controlled service, and resource consumption is bounded by PHP configuration limits.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
