CVE-2023-45194

Wireless traffic interception via decodable default key

Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024

Use of default credentials in MR-GM2 3.00.03 and earlier and MR-GM3 1.03.45 and earlier allows attackers to intercept wireless LAN traffic. The firmware assigns a decodable factory-default wireless pre-shared key instead of a unique per-device value. Exploitation requires adjacent network access and a device still using the unchanged factory key; it exposes intercepted communications without reported service disruption.
