Authenticated code execution via untrusted deserialization
Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Deserialization in IBM Access Client Solutions 1.1.2 through 1.1.4 and 1.1.4.3 through 1.1.9.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The LmHybridServerImpl listener deserializes network packets and user data without authenticating the serialized object's origin. Access to the listener and low-privilege credentials are sufficient to run operations with the authority of the active client account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
