Victim-assisted code execution via hidden page title
Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 10, 2024
Code injection in XWiki Platform before 14.10.12 and in the 15.x branch before 15.5-rc-1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The create action accepts a title expression in the first-step request, hides that value from the confirmation page, and evaluates it after Create is clicked. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted link and click Create; script or programming rights then bound execution to browser scripts or full server code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
