Published Dec 21, 2023 · Updated May 19, 2025
SQL injection in Projectworlds Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via desc. The addquiz branch of /update.php reads the desc parameter without character validation and sends it unfiltered to the database. An authenticated account can exploit the network-facing quiz-creation request to read or modify database data and interrupt the service.
