Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered qid parameter
Published Dec 21, 2023 · Updated May 19, 2025
SQL injection in Projectworlds Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through qid. The update.php quiz step-two handler sends the qid parameter to the database without validating or filtering SQL metacharacters. A valid account is required; crafted qid values execute attacker-controlled SQL that can read or modify application data and interrupt service.
