Forced rewrite-rule flush via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in YAS Global Team Permalinks Customizer 2.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to flush rewrite rules. The post_settings function fails to verify a valid nonce before it flushes WordPress rewrite rules in response to a request. Exploitation requires an administrator logged into the affected site to follow a crafted link or otherwise submit the forged request; the documented consequence is limited to a rewrite-rule flush.
