Subscriber-level export disruption via missing capability checks
Published Jan 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Missing authorization in CusRev Customer Reviews for WooCommerce 5.36.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disrupt reviews exports. The check_progress and cancel_export functions omit capability checks, allowing logged-in subscribers to inspect progress or cancel an active export. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the direct consequence is limited to viewing export progress or stopping the active export job.
