API key disclosure via unredacted audit logging
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Information exposure in Octopus Server allows remote authenticated users with audit-log access to obtain a cleartext API key. After an invalid login attempt, the server writes the supplied API key into the audit log instead of redacting the credential. Exploitation requires an API key and EventView access to the resulting audit entry; disclosure exposes that credential for reuse.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
