Script execution via unsanitized reflected parameters
Published Oct 18, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Thomas Scholl canvasio3D Light 2.4.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted requests. The plugin reflects some request parameters into a rendered page without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, but public records do not identify the parameters or code locus. Exploitation requires a user, such as an administrator, to follow a crafted link, exposing that user's browser session to attacker-supplied script behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
