Administrator-induced data modification via missing AJAX nonce validation
Published Oct 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Tuskcode Map Pro for Bing Maps before 5.0 allows remote attackers to alter plugin data via forged AJAX requests. AJAX actions perform missing or incorrect nonce validation, allowing forged requests to reach settings, map, and role-changing operations. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link; successful requests can update settings, modify or delete map data, and change plugin user privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
