CVE-2023-4503Network attack vector

Remote service access via unsecured HTTP invoker

Published Feb 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Improper initialization in Red Hat JBoss EAP and EAP-XP allows remote authenticated users to access unsecured HTTP services. During custom server provisioning, Galleon creates the Undertow HTTP invoker without an authentication association, leaving its services unprotected. The flaw requires a custom Galleon-provisioned server; exposed invoker services permit unauthorized access to application data without interrupting availability.
