Stored script execution via unsanitized admin settings
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Timely Booking Button 2.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The plugin accepts administrator-controlled settings without sufficient input sanitization and later renders them without adequate output escaping. Exploitation requires Administrator access and applies only to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; stored code runs when a user opens an injected page.
