Stored script execution via Developer Settings ID
Published Nov 1, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in BigTree CMS 4.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a Developer Settings ID. The settings editor stores an injected ID value and renders it in /site/index.php/admin/developer/settings, where the browser interprets the markup. Access to Developer Settings and a later visit to that panel are required, exposing the visitor's session to script-driven data access or actions.
