Unauthenticated database disclosure via city parameter injection
Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
SQL injection in JoomSky WP Job Portal before 2.0.6 allows remote attackers to read WordPress database data through unauthenticated job searches. The job-search handler inserts the user-controlled city parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. A public POST request to a configured job-search page can trigger time-based injection; published evidence demonstrates a delay oracle and reports sensitive-data extraction.
