Browser-context script execution via remote-syslog XSS
Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Dec 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cobham SAILOR VSAT Ku 164B019 allows remote attackers to run script code through the remote-syslog interface. The acu_web c_set_rslog_decode function places a crafted remote-syslog value into web output without neutralizing script content. Exploitation requires a victim to load the affected page, after which the script can read or modify data within that browser context.
