CVE-2023-44853Public exploit

Code execution via crafted diagnostic script

Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Code injection in Cobham Satcom SAILOR 600 VSAT Ku 164B019 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted script. The acu_web executable's sub_219C4 function processes attacker-supplied script content as executable code rather than neutralizing it as data. The CNA describes a remote attacker, while CISA's assessment requires local low-privileged access and user interaction; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code.
