Stored XSS via unvalidated plural handles
Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Data Object associations in Concrete CMS 8.5.12 and earlier and 9.0 through 9.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The dashboard entity controller stored the plural_handle request value without applying handle validation, allowing association pages to render attacker-supplied JavaScript. Administrator access is required to create or edit a Data Object, and execution occurs when another user opens the affected page.
