CVE-2023-44762Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unsanitized Tags input

Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024

Reflected XSS in Concrete CMS 9.2.0 through 9.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to run script through a crafted tag. The Bedrock AJAX select list used by Settings - Tags returns insufficiently sanitized tag input, allowing an injected event handler to execute when the rendered page is opened. Dashboard access is required to submit the tag, and another user's interaction is required; execution is confined to that viewer's browser context.
