CVE-2023-44761Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized Data Object labels

Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored XSS in Concrete CMS before 8.5.13 and 9.0.0 through 9.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via Data Object forms. The Forms editor stores a crafted Custom Label value without neutralizing HTML event handlers, and the payload runs when another user views the rendered page. Concrete administrator access to edit Data Object forms and a subsequent viewer are required, limiting impact to script execution in the viewer's browser context.
