API-key disclosure via unsanitized error messages
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Information disclosure in Grafana Labs Google Sheets data source before 1.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to read its configured API key. The plugin returns Google Sheets API errors without redacting the configured key, placing that credential in error messages. High-privilege Grafana access and a query that produces an API error are required to expose the configured Google Sheets credential.
