Account data deletion via unprotected reset routes
Published Aug 21, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
CSRF in wallabag before 2.6.3 allows attackers to delete a victim's annotations, entries, tags, or archived entries via reset URLs. ConfigController's resetAction accepted state-changing GET requests without validating a CSRF token, enabling a third-party page to invoke four reset routes. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to load attacker-controlled content; the resulting request deletes data in that user's account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
