Stored script execution via unescaped first name
Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Stored XSS in Projectworlds Online Blood Donation Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. users/register.php stores the firstName value without neutralization, and layout/_member_layout.php inserts it between td tags without output encoding. Registration requires no privileges, but exploitation requires a user to load member.php, where the script runs in that site's browser origin.
