Argument injection in Linux Mint Xreader 3.8.2 allows remote attackers to execute code after a user opens a crafted CBT file. The comics backend embeds attacker-controlled CBT archive entries in external tar command arguments without reliably neutralizing option delimiters. Opening the file is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the current user's privileges.
