Information disclosure via Annotation buffer over-read
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Annotation handling in Tungsten Automation Power PDF before 5.0.0.15 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory. The AcroForm Annotation parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading beyond an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and the disclosed data can support a separate code-execution exploit.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
