Authenticated database query manipulation via edit-doc.php inputs
Published Aug 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Free Hospital Management System for Small Practices 1.0 and 5.0.12 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The vm/doctor/edit-doc.php handler places id00, nic, oldemail, email, spec, and Tele POST values into SQL statements without parameterization. A low-privileged authenticated session is required, and injected queries execute with the application's database permissions.
