OS command injection in prog.cgi in D-Link DIR-X3260 1.02B02 and 1.04b01 allows attackers to execute code as root via HNAP requests. The SetTriggerPPPoEValidate handler passes its unvalidated Password string into a system call when prog.cgi processes an HNAP request. Access to the LAN-side web service on TCP port 80 or 443 is required; authentication is nominally required but bypassable, yielding root-level command execution.
