CVE-2023-44384Network attack vector

Internal service disclosure via unrestricted Jira requests

Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024

SSRF in Discourse Jira through f11be4c allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP responses through crafted Jira requests. Api.make_request joins a configured Jira base URL with influenced endpoints and sends them through Net::HTTP without private-address filtering; attach also accepts ../ path segments. Administrators can redirect the base URL and view verbose logs, while authorized moderators can traverse the API path and send GET requests with configured Jira credentials.
