Sensitive-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds file read
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InDesign ID18.5 and earlier and ID17.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive memory. Adobe has not published the affected file parser or the malformed input that causes the read to cross a buffer boundary. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file, exposing process memory that can reveal sensitive data and help bypass ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
