Web management outage via unchecked input length

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Siemens SCALANCE devices before V4.6 or V8.1 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt web management. Configuration-change handlers in the web interface fail to validate input lengths before processing attacker-controlled field values. Administrative access is required, and successful exploitation leaves the web interface unavailable until the device is restarted.
