Weak checksum protection in Siemens SCALANCE and RUGGEDCOM firmware before 8.0 or 3.0.0 allows administrators to import altered configurations. The configuration-backup workflow relies on a weak checksum to authenticate uploaded backup contents, so modified files can pass integrity validation.
