Stored XSS in Siemens SINEC NMS before 2.0 allows remote attackers controlling a monitored device to modify application data. The application fails to sanitize SNMP configuration data retrieved from the device before presenting it in its web interface, allowing stored script code to execute in a legitimate user's browser. Reachability requires access to a monitored device and user interaction; the bounded consequence is unintended application-data modification.
