Stored XSS in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a page Name field. The Page Tree menu stores a crafted page name without neutralizing embedded web script or HTML, then renders that value to later viewers. A user must be able to change a page name; affected ranges are Portal 7.3.6 through 7.4.3.78 and DXP 7.3 fix pack 1 through update 23 or 7.4 before update 79.
