Path traversal in Dell DM5500 5.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite server configuration files. Dell has not published the request field, endpoint, or path-validation error that permits traversal outside the intended directory. Exploitation requires high-privilege appliance access and can alter configuration or interrupt services without disclosing file contents.
