Browser script execution via administrator-stored XSS
Published Oct 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Gopi Ramasamy Popup contact form 7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The CNA record and Patchstack advisory do not disclose the affected administrative field, storage path, or output context that retains and renders unneutralized input. Administrator access is required to store the payload, and successful exploitation requires another user to view affected content, where the script can alter page content and access browser-exposed data.
