Cache clearing via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 10, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in Mediavine Control Panel 2.10.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to clear the plugin cache through a forged request. The render_settings_page function accepts the cache-clearing request without valid nonce verification. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to visit a crafted page or click a malicious link, and the documented consequence is limited to clearing cached plugin data.
