Cross-ADOM log disclosure via missing access filtering
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 13, 2024
Information disclosure in Fortinet FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer products allows remote authenticated users to read another ADOM's event logs. The event-log request handler does not filter returned records by the requesting administrator's authorized ADOM. Administrative read permission and a crafted HTTP or HTTPS request are required, and the documented impact is cross-ADOM log disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.2.0 <=6.2.13
- Affected versionversion=6.4.0 <=6.4.15
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <=7.0.13
- Affected versionversion=7.2.0 <=7.2.5
