CVE-2023-44221Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Administrator-authenticated command execution via management-interface injection

Published Dec 5, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

OS command injection in SonicWall SMA 100 Series 10.2.1.9-57sv and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The SSL-VPN management interface passes input containing unneutralized special elements into an OS command, but SonicWall has not identified the affected request or code path. Administrative access to the management interface is required, and successful injection runs arbitrary commands under the low-privileged nobody account.
