Local command execution via startup DLL search
Published Oct 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
DLL search-order hijacking in SonicWall NetExtender for Windows 10.2.336 and earlier allows local users to execute commands. The startup DLL component searches for and loads a library without constraining the search path, allowing attacker-controlled code to be selected. Low privileges and user interaction are required; successful exploitation executes commands with the affected process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
