Out-of-bounds write in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows remote attackers to crash and restart rpd via BGP updates. The routing protocol daemon writes beyond a buffer while processing BGP routes learned from a peer whose import policy contains hundreds of IPv4 or IPv6 prefix-matching terms. An established BGP session and that unusually large policy are required; successful exploitation interrupts routing service by restarting rpd.
