Credential disclosure via exposed file-copy arguments
Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Sensitive information exposure in affected Junos OS Evolved releases allows local users with shell access to read file-copy CLI passwords. The file copy command leaves a supplied remote-system password visible in its CLI command line instead of concealing it from other shell users. Exploitation requires authenticated shell access and user interaction with the command; the exposed credential grants unauthorized access to the remote system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
