Arbitrary file write via admin_notify.php
Published Sep 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
SeaCMS V12.9 arbitrary file write vulnerability allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files through the admin_notify.php component. The affected component accepts attacker-controlled input and performs a file-write operation without adequate restriction, but public records do not identify the exact parameter or sink. The published network, unauthenticated scoring indicates that no login or user interaction is required; consequences include modification of server files and potentially broader confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
