CVE-2023-44129

Protected data disclosure via returned crafted intents

Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024

Information disclosure in LG V60 ThinQ 5G Android 12 through 13 allows local users to read protected provider data via crafted intents. The exported com.android.mms.ui.QClipIntentReceiverActivity returns attacker-supplied data or ClipData with URI grant flags instead of constraining the result. A malicious local app must trigger the activity and QCLIP broadcast with user interaction; success grants read access only to content providers that allow URI grants.
